Perfect position for an overnight...

Liked: Brilliant position in the town, a few minutes walk to the theatre.Ample cheap parking.Much cooler than most hotels.
Disliked: Decor dark and dingy and very dated., Unwelcoming austere lounge. Bathroom dated with old chipped discoloured grout around the shower.Neighbours loud television audible through the wall.

Liked: Loved the setting and all the facilities but we only had a short stay so will definitely be back to spend time at the spa. Staff were extremely helpful and efficient, great breakfast, comfy beds

Disliked: Hotel tired, fraying carpets.Room not adequately cleaned, dust on rear of surfaces, fronts were clean.Cobwebs in RoomVery low shower water pressure. £24 pp breakfast, only had 1/2 tomato, 1/2 mushroom, small beans 1 egg. Non meat sausage unavailable. Potato options were inedible. Toast limp . Avocado on toast additional £5, cappuccino etc additional £4......Day 2 breakfast was buffet, no tomato, no non meat sausage again. Continental breakfast was better and only £18 ppBoston tea party breakfast twice as nice , 1/3 price. Staff walking through during breakfast with cigarette in mouth.....!!4 star rating should be reviewed. Not value for money
