Liked: The house and setting is beautiful. The staff were welcoming and attentive.. food was good and reasonably priced. Loved relaxing on sofa with a wine and book. Dog friendly too

Disliked: Nothing not to like, overall I'd stay again. The only slight disappointment was toilet was in need of a good clean.

Liked: A lovely old homeDinner available.,good as it was a distance from where was maybe the closest town Dumfries The dinner was wonderful. Staff very nice breakfast good
Disliked: A wedding was on., we would have liked prior warning We got the last room, not knowing why So we were stuck in a small room up a long flight of stairs Room barely adequate, bathroom tiny Just looked tired and needing attention, And the wedding guests of course were noisy all night. Just our bad luck.
