Liked: Cleanliness, friendly staff, and good location.
Disliked: Room was very cold due to old windows/ draft, radiator didn’t turn on or heat up the room at all, and tv was very old with poor screen quality so entertainment whilst relaxing wasn’t great.

Fantastic gem in a busy...

Liked: Staff were very welcoming, very helpful and friendly. Room service everyday available of wanted. Place comes with vast history but is modern inside and comfortable. Breakfast was superb.
Disliked: Couldn't find any faults.

A Georgian hideaway with a...

Liked: The staff are always very efficient and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble.The food is nicely cooked and well presented. We stayed for two nights with a good, hearty breakfast included. We booked for dinner on one night. It was very tasty and priced reasonably.The hotel has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere with a pretty, well-kept garden for guests to use.The shops and theatre are within easy walking distance and Fareham train station a short drive away.This was our third visit to Lysses.
Disliked: There wasn't much that we didn't like but one must bear in mind when staying at the weekend that the restaurant is not open on Sunday evenings. This is made clear in the booking confirmation though and alternative places can be recommended by the staff.
