Liked: Excellent staff! Quirky hotel with a lot of history. Very comfortable rooms and public areas. We are looking forward to returning in the late spring.
Disliked: No hot water on the morning that we were leaving which could not be fixed before our departure at 10:00.We stayed in room 3. The room had everything that you would need for a comfortable stay except the lavish curtains. The curtains certainly ensured a light free night. However, they closed over the only radiator in the room blocking the heat flow. Restful but chilly nights sleep. Perhaps shutters would be a solution.

Liked: Old but interesting. Stairs and handrails ok. Comfortable.
Disliked: Difficulty with parking since only parking is public parking on the street. There is a car park further back from the pub which is fine.
