Overall a lovely place to stay, very cosy, comfortable and relaxing....

Liked: A real castle! Very comfortable and cosy and the staff and my room were lovely!
Disliked: I wish that the restaurant had been opened at all times and that the bar had more variety in respect of special diets. For non-drivers it was a very long walk to the road, to the bus stop - a little lift option would have been lovely as I hurt my ankles with walking backwards and forward up that slope!

Great venue, food and service.

Liked: The castle/hotel is great.. with lovely rooms and preserved features around the hotel.This was our 2nd visit and the food and service was excellent yet again. I feel the whole package is fantastic value for money and we look forward to returning again.
Disliked: Nothing.

It was a beautiful overnight...

Liked: The character of the property was superb, everything in our room and bathroom was exceptional. Every little detail was thought of and beautifully finished. The restaurant was excellent and food delicious, the staff could not do enough for us.
