Not good ! Will not...

Liked: Clean rooms
Disliked: Only saw staff when we ck’d in..had to wait over 30 minutes along with 6 others bc no one was in office ! No staff ever in office (even though clock sign would say when it was open) or around to answer questions about heat not working correctly Only handed out 1 key and we accidentally locked our key in room( yes our fault) again no one around in office to let us inHad to call number on office door SEVERAL times to get response Finally after a 1/2 hr. we got a response then had to wait for 1 hr. for staff to come open up for us !I know it’s the end of the season and short on help but you still have to have service available for people staying there ! It was almost like self serve hotel ..very disappointing and would never stay here again along with others who stayed there

Convenient, walking distance to the...

Liked: Convenient and reasonable price range. The cafe next door had wonderful breakfasts. Easy walking distance to shops and restaurants.
Disliked: It just needed a few minor repairs.

Should be shut down until...

Disliked: The facility is not retro- it's worn down and outdated. Not only were there no amenities - no breakfast, no pool, no USB outlets - the mattress was so old and broken down it was like we were sleeping on a slide! We could not sleep because we were literally fighting from rolling off the mattress all night. Early morning on Saturday, we contacted the establishment through e-mail (Booking.com), left a message with the phone number from the booking (noone was in the office, no phone in the room to contact a front desk, no numbers or emergency contact info provided), and I texted that number as well. Late in the afternoon I received a response where they requested to go into the room to look at the broken bed because it looked fine when they cleaned the room the other day. They also said they had no vacancies (Fall Fest weekend) so they could not change our room. Confirming they could go into the room but they wouldn't be able to see a broken down mattress unless they laid on the bed, they never responded. There was no further communication from the establishment. We lost another night's sleep and were so tired after two nights of no sleep that we ended up leaving early the next morning rather than spending another day to enjoy the area. The lights above their sign were not working, so we drove past their driveway a few times when dark. They said to put towels in a laundry basket if you wanted fresh ones. We did, but did not receive fresh towels, so I dried off with a hand towel the second day (noone was in the office, and there was no housekeeping - no numbers at all- left for patrons).

Very nice

Liked: the facility was nice and a good price and the king size bed was great. Nice quality towels. We would definitely come back.
Disliked: Communication and maybe a better couch. We thought it was odd that no one was in the office when we got there at 6:30 pm and didn't know where the key was. But we found it in the mailbox and all was well.

It’s more like a self-service...

Liked: Room was large, very clean and the balcony looked toward the lakefront.
Disliked: They don’t understand that Covid is over and can stop using that as an excuse for poor service.It was so dark returning from touring the second night that we drove right past it. We turned around to try again, found it, but the driveway around the corner to the back was so dark that we couldn’t tell where we were going or if we were on the driveway or the grass.At check-in on the first night the clerk made a note to have our room freshened up each day (bed made, towels carved, coffee pods restocked etc.). The hinges of the bathroom door squeaked so loudly it woke us up. We planned to tell the desk about it in the morning when we went out about 9:30 since the office says “open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. but it wasn’t open. When we returned the next night about 7 the office was already closed. Our room had not been touched. The note had meant nothing. The coffee, cups and creamer had also not been restocked and café’s are on reduced hours for this almost end-of-season. We did find a service station to get coffee. As I say, the location close to the shopping area of Egg Harbor and the facility itself (except the lack of lighting) was excellent.
