Wouldn’t wish this upon an...

Liked: Didn‘t like this hotel one bit. It looks more like a hostel than anything. Severely outdated, dirty and non-functioning. In the morning and until check-out, no one at the desk. Will be contacting Booking.com to claim a refund.Twice in the evening and late night, someone tried to barge into my room by grabbing the doorknob.
Disliked: First of all, extremely dirty and rundown carpet everywhere. Both in lobby, up the stairs as well as on all floors and in my room. It was a mess and looks as if it has never been cleaned. I had tried to book a room for around 60€, Booking.com took the payment but told me the room was unavailable so I ended up paying around 95€ for a single bedroom. But get this - in order to fill up the room with unnecessary things, they put two beds to crowd the room even more. So 95€ for one of the worst hotel experiences. I asked for another room but the man said they were fully booked. Booking.com said otherwise.Bathroom had no soap or trashcan. Damaged door because of an big, outdated sink. Hot water didn‘t work which was great since the bedroom was at freezing temperature all night due to a very badly insulated window situation.Beds squeaky, just some blanket used as bed covers. Broken closet and not one hint of them wanting to fix it. Lights extremely bright. Thanks to a very dirty carpet, air was terrible in the room.Table broken and rundown. Only good thing was the Mini fridge (It‘s not a Minibar as they tell you). Just an empty fridge. Breakfast was disgusting. Just white bread, müsli and some cold crap to put on top of said bread. I didn‘t eat anything and just stuck to watered down coffee. Woman cleared breakfast „buffet“ 5 minutes before 9.30. 4 cramped tables for Breakfast area when it was supposedly a „fully booked“ hotel. I refuse to believe that.Extremely noisy morning due to the street and not-so-insulated windows. Curtains didn‘t close off the whole window so by morning, you‘re flashing PwC employees.Wifi kicked me out all evening and doesn‘t work in the Breakfast „area“. If I was paying 50€ for this hotel, I wouldn‘t be this upset. And even that is too much money. The prize should be around 15-20€ a night, judging by the state of this hotel.

In essence, not so bad,...

Liked: The bed is hard and very good for sleeping, pillows with feathers. Room size was good too
Disliked: The faucet on the shower is broken and does not work properly. With some difficulty I reached the hot water.During breakfast, there was always something missing, eggs, salami. Although new people were arriving for breakfast, the staff did not show much desire to bring additional quantities of food.

Poor

Liked: It seemed to be located close by the center station
Disliked: The room was dirty, and the bed was smelly The breakfast wasn't even close to being good, the buffet isn't an actual buffet, it's like 3 items max.The heater wasn't working at night until 9 amThe hot water in the shower was gone, and literally wasn't working anymore.Yes it's a budget friendly room, but omg, it's way worse than I've ever anticipated!!

Very central, cheap, but with...

Liked: It's very central, just about ten minutes walk from the train station. The personnel were also OK.
Disliked: The dirtiest, most run down place I've seen in my life. I've seen squatted houses that were so much better than this left in time and the sweat of the previous guests of the past decades place. Humiliating experience. Prisons are probably better than this so-called hotel. And you don't have to pay there either.

Very good

Liked: A great location, a short walk from the central train station, but also close to the 107/108 tram lines, which were the main ones I utilised. A very quite and comfortable room.A very satisfying breakfast offering. The Iranian staff were really helpful and friendly, particularly once I got my Google Translate working.
Disliked: While I was able to obtain hot water for a cup of tea on two occasions from a member of the hotel's staff, it would have been really good if there'd been a kettle either in my room or accessible in a common area, such as near the reception.

comfortable rooms in top location...

Liked: cheap price for this top location just 1 metro station south of central railway station.Single room was clean and cozy , good bed .nice breakfast buffet, turkish-style with olives and feta cheese.
Disliked: hot water tap could not be turned on, had only cold water. This is main reason for the poor rating. Hotel seems not well managed, there were many other less serious issues : no wifi in room in 3rd floor, only at lobbyreceptionist at early afternoon spoke merely german or english and took long time to find my booking. 2 sockets for electricity did not work (near bathroom and near bed. Only the one at TV worked TV not working (display : no signal) toilet cover loose, must fix it. carpets in main areas dirty and tissues on carpet. All matters were reported to hotel.
