Liked: The breakfasts equalled the best we have ever experienced and the evening meals were very good indeed. The room was comfortable and had all of the basic facilities you would expect in a room within this price bracket. The fridge containing a bottle of fresh milk each day, was a very nice touch. Our dog was very well accommodated throughout the hotel. The location, looking seewards, is stunning. Without exception, the staff were friendly and attentive and were genuinely interested in ensuring our happiness.
Disliked: Insufficient hooks in the bathroom but that's about it.

Liked: Lovely location, hotel has rooms overlooking sea. Excellent breakfast. The standard room was fairly spacious and reasonable priced. Very comfortable bed. Walking distance to Shanklin old town and the beach. This is a dog friendly hotel. Great for walkers and dog owners.
Disliked: The bathroom was tired and dated.Some dog owners are not able to stop their dogs from barking - even during the night. Hotel could maybe accommodate dog owners in same wing. Non dog owners in another part of hotel.Due to land slips many of the footpaths to beach are permanently closed.

Liked: The breakfast room was at the rear of the premises. It was great enjoying a wonderful, delicious breakfast that came with a seaside view. Also, there was table service by friendly helpful staff.
Disliked: Nothing to not like. Friendly helpful staff and a great experience

Liked: Hotel was lovely and we enjoyed staying here and the stuff was very polite and friendly. The room was very tidy and clean also breakfast was nice too thank u for having us

Exceptional

Liked: I enjoyed the full breakfast in the conservatory with views out to sea. Peaceful setting. The staff were all extremely friendly, helpful and were able to answer any questions I had, such as directions to go places, where I could eat, etc. My room and ensuite bathroom were very clean.
Disliked: Just need to pay attention to how the bedroom door latch works.
