Liked: I was especially thrilled to receive a discount for a $1 beer from soulcraft brewery nearby. It was only two blocks away. And very good beer and food! Very friendly people there too

Functional, decent lodge / motel...

Liked: The location was the key part for us as a stopver on the way from Denver to Moab. The room was comfortable and clean and the facilities are okay if a little tired. I think you need to get a first floor room and get the mountain views to avoid some of the issues we experienced.
Disliked: Our room unfortunately had the courtyard view (car park) and not the mountain view and being the ground floor it was very noisy and not very private unless you closed the curtains, not ideal in the daytime. The biggest issue we had with the room was the plumbing was extremely noisy.......I can only assume our room housed the plumbing for the entire floor above, or the room above showered a lot and flushed the toilet repeatedly!.......such a shame as the place itself is fine for a one or two night stay and has the benefit of the pool and hot tubs.

Liked: One of the rare cases when the rooms look like photos on the website. Rooms are nice, clean, and bright. Shower amenities are great (conditioner is included, which is big plus). The rooms on the 2nd/3rd floor have a small deck outside of the rooms with tables & chairs and it's awesome.
Disliked: AC/heater is the same as in 95% of other hotels - the big, loud, bulky thing by the window. An industry standard (unfortunately), but not my thing.
