Liked: The location was perfect for a stop-off between Scotland and London: a short drive from the motorway, yet with a superb circular walk with spectacular views from the doorstep. Loved the feather duvets and pillows. Most delicious B & B breakfast I've ever had (particularly as a vegetarian) and wonderfully helpful hosts.

Liked: Wonderful hosts, gorgeous food, lovely room. It was such a gorgeous stay, just over the hill from Ullswater and an easy drive to the main road. I had a private garden with my room, full of birds and a red squirrel.
Disliked: Wi-Fi can be patchy but I didn’t come to the lakes to sit and stare at my computer!
