Liked: Conveniently located in historic Louisville, The Louisville Bourbon Inn was the best B&B experience we’ve ever had! From the quaint residential houses (2), to the well-appointed rooms and common areas, to the lush courtyard teeming with a beautiful variety of plants and flowers, the Inn was everything we had hoped it would be and more. Allen was the on-site host who cheerfully tended to our every need, as well as acted as the chef for each of our varied, delicious breakfast surprises. The Inn’s location in the Historic District was perfectly located to make for easy travel to bourbon distilleries, riverboat cruises, restaurants and Churchill Downs. A+ in every way!

Liked: Felt compelled to write my first ever review for our first ever stay at a B&B. Incredible experience! Allen has set the bar too high. From his chef level breakfasts to his amazing hand crafted cocktails. Very comfortable and welcoming. Encouraged Allen to write a Louisville Bourbon Inn cookbook containing his fantastic meals! Will highly recommend this mansion to anyone visiting Louisville!!!
Disliked: Not really sure I could add anything to make the experience any better. The atmosphere was great and the host was very, very accommodating from everything to temperature control to meal adjustments due to any allergies.

Lovely Host and Beautiful House

Liked: Alan was a wonderful host. His breakfast options were tasty and well done. He was always available and ready to assist. The house itself was beautiful. If we were to return to Louisville, it would be because of Alan's exceptional hospitality.
Disliked: The only downside was that our room was really cold, but that is on us for not mentioning it to our host.
