Disliked: I had high expectations for Lough Erne Resort, but unfortunately, our experience was far from 5-star. From arrival to departure, we were left underwhelmed.On arrival, the resort was extremely busy, and the car park was packed. We had to park in an overflow area, which was muddy and inconvenient, especially with a pram and luggage. Not a great first impression.We had booked a Junior Suite, expecting luxury, but for the price, it certainly wasn’t worth it. The so-called lounge area was just two chairs in a vast, empty space, making it feel unfinished and bare. To make matters worse, the cot provided for our baby was missing a wheel, leaving it off-balance.Our experience in the bar area was equally disappointing. We waited 20 minutes before anyone acknowledged us, then another 20 minutes for our drinks. When they finally arrived, the waiter wandered from table to table asking who had ordered them—despite being the one who took our order!Dinner service was just as poor. There was no atmosphere (not even background music), and the service was disorganised. When our mains arrived, we realised our side dish hadn’t been put through, so we had to ask for it. When it eventually came out, staff once again walked from table to table asking if it belonged to them before finally reaching us.The leisure facilities were another letdown. The pool area small and grubby it was closed at times for a private function—frustrating for some I am sure when you’re paying nearly £400 a night. The changing facilities were basic at best cramped with a few lockers, certainly not up to 5-star standards. Will also add no baby or child robes in the room asked reception if we could have one was just told no we don’t do them, go to other 5 star hotels Galgorm, Slieve Donard etc this is a given

Liked: Really nice location, rooms are lovely
Disliked: Food in bar was not good. Glasses and cutlery were dirty. Staff were really slow. Pool and facilities are absolutely not 5 star.

Liked: Great facilities and location . Pleasant stay for most part but breakfast wasn’t great, couldn’t order from menu as it was too busy, not great for a 5 star hotel. And an awful experience at the Lough side grill. Service and food was terrible with major improvements required there

Liked: Lovely peaceful getaway, beautiful surroundings, nice clean room.
Disliked: Service could improve, had to que for breakfast each morning despite having pre booking a time slot
