Interesting location, smart boutiquey hotel...

Liked: Breakfast was a bonus, the buffet not included in my tariff, but table service including coffee and eggs benedict was less than GBP 25 .. and I don't like buffet anyway, too much choice and too much getting up and down.Location was fine but I don't need to stay there again. StP's train station is about 250 m away, a bit further to alternates like Bank or Cannon St. Buses would be good if a visitor could work out which one to catch.
Disliked: I stayed twice, two weekends, separated by a week when I was away from London.On the first weekend, I was allocated a disability access room, which was fine but the disability bathroom was overwelming, metal everywhere and no instructions about any of the fittings including the taps in the shower, and how to turn off the alarm which I set off inadvertently.On the second weekend I was not allocated a disability access room, fine but the second bathroom had a space of less than the width of my hips, and I'm not big girl, between the marble corner of the basin surround and the toilet .. frankly ridiculous.Later I found a review by a columnist in my local paper of the lost property hotel at Ludgate Hill .. I did not have the experience he had (especially a view of St Paul's), on either occasion .. the tariff was pretty high, praps not by London standards, but it didn't represent good value to me .. certainly a smart boutiquey well located Hilton, a bit bland and expensive.

Liked: Breakfast was amazing! The pancake machine was INSANE! The service was really good too, I cannot fault anything!
Disliked: Not much to say here as we had a really enjoyable say. If I were to say something not so positive, it was that we were put in an accessible room (Which was fine) but the toilet was quite high up and I couldn't touch the floor. (I am quite short, ha)
