It was a good stay, but will look for something a little nicer next time.

Liked: Pool.
Disliked: Room wasn't as nice as I thought for the price.

Liked: The staff was always accommodating. E.g., When checking in, I asked if I could change my assigned room to one on a higher floor: done! For meals, I sat at the bar as I was travelling by myself. All the servers were very friendly and attentive. I was there on Remembrance weekend, and as the Lord Elgin is very close to Parliament Hill and the Cenotaph, I met patriotic people from all over Canada, including members of our armed services.
Disliked: There was nothing I didn't like!

Didn’t quite feel up to...

Liked: Good location and staff.
Disliked: Room was very poorly designed. Light flooded through the door crack which kept me awake all night. Toilet situated so close to wall, had to sit on it sideways. Waited almost 15 mins for a valet person to take my keys on returning to the hotel at night.

It was lovely.

Liked: The location to downtown.
Disliked: The windows were small.
