A really nice place to...
Liked: The chateau is small, beautiful and well maintained. The annex with bedrooms is of a high standard. The evening dinner was, sincerely, a really special meal at a reasonable price. The staff were pleasant and professional. I would definitely stay again.
Disliked: there were no tea/coffee facilities in the room which is always a nice thing to have and this was missing for me, but the rest of the stay was faultless.

Very pleasant stay and staff...
Liked: We have stayed before but not in the annex but disappointed with the booking.com description of the supérieur room as a garden view as w knew the property and did not expect to pay for a superior room with a view of the house next door .Also on booking it states all taxes and charges included in the price we paid but do not state that France and other européen countries you have tax sejour . We are aware of this tax as we live abroad but the booking website is very misleading stating all taxes and charges included in the price .
Disliked: That a supérieur room did not have coffee making facilities.

Pleasant
Liked: The swimming pool area is beautiful
Disliked: We last stayed here for our honeymoon in 1997 and wanted to return with our daughters. This time our rooms were in the Orangerie which we found disappointing. There was no air conditioning, so it was difficult to sleep, plus there was no fridge or room safe. I had already paid for both rooms earlier in the year, but on arrival the receptionist disputed this but after about 10 minutes agreed that we had paid. However, when checking out, we had the fact they we had already paid disputed yet again by a different receptionist. This took around 10 minutes again to be resolved. They need a better system to log whether guests have pre-paid or not!
