Liked: Stayed only one night. Location was great. Room was comfortable though the decor was a bit bland (was in the most basic room). It was clean which is most important and the showers have nice marble and rain shower heads. Bar in the lobby in the evening had excellent cocktails, nice bartender and was really nicely decorated. Staff were responsive to requests in advance. I was able to leave my luggage with them after check out and they had free car service to nearby locations on the peninsula. All staff were very helpful and accommodating. (Side note: Breakfast/coffee shop next door had some of the best breakfast sandwiches I have had - I didn't have a chance to try the hotel breakfast.)
Disliked: Parking like everywhere in Portland is a whole thing that doesn't need to be a thing. There is what looks like hotel parking behind the hotel, but it turns out it is not and some hotel guests had been towed the night before (not us). We were immediately warned and repeatedly reminded to remove the car in the first half hour so this would not happen to us. Hotel valet parking has about 5-6 spots. We did not opt for that and we had to find parking twice at night and were able to find some within 1-2 blocks each time, it wasn't a big deal. As there is 15 minute unloading parking for hotel guests directly in front of the hotel this also allowed us to unload or reload belongings without issue before parking.

Lovely, small professionally run hotel...

Liked: The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. Perfect location. Delicious drinks in the bar. And the BMW car that one can get a ride in to downtown is really cool. Being next to Tandem bakery is definitely a plus! I loved that the bathroom land bedroom lighting could be bright and also dimmed. Really comfortable beds!Great visit!
Disliked: Liked everything. I would suggest they have directions for how to use the French Press coffee pots and heat. I liked both but needed a bit of help to know how to use them.

Nice option for Portland

Liked: Nice hotel, lovely staff. Location a bit out of town but the free taxi service is great - we didn’t ever get an Uber.
Disliked: Parking! We misunderstood the signs in the street (very unclear) and got two tickets! We were only there for 24hrs.No room for suitcase in the room, breakfast not included. Nothing complimentary in the spa (not even sauna or meditation room!).

Lovely property, loved the staff...

Liked: Staff was very helpful. loved the bar in the lobby. loved the ambiance. Loved the convenience of a driver since the hotel is far from the wharf. My husband liked the workspace on the 5th floor, especially since the room had no desk.
Disliked: Paying for $4 cup of coffee in the morning when coffee is usually complimentary along with fruit and a starch. No desk or dresser in the room. Coffee maker in room inadequate.
