Liked: The woman who was the manager (owner?) was extremely gracious. Although I really enjoyed staying there, I would highly recommend the place because of her.

Liked: Clean, great location, and you can park right in front of your room which makes it very convenient to move stuff from/to your car.
Disliked: The blanket is too thin and the AC is kind of weird. It heats very quickly and once it reaches the set temperature, the hot air becomes cold air. If you didn’t turn it off, the room will become cold. So we decided to turn off the AC before we slept. But it gets cold at night and the blanket is way too thin. I did not get a good rest due to the AC issue.

Lone Oak Lodge - Nice...

Liked: We traveled with our dogs to visit our son in Monterey for Thanksgiving. The cottage was just perfect for our needs. I reserved the Queen Cottage that had a full kitchen and was able to utilize the fridge and oven and make Thanksgiving dinner to bring to our son's house. The appliances worked perfectly and it was so convenient. The cottage was roomy with two beds. The bathroom was spacious and the room and property neat and clean. Although located in a business area, it was close to everything, stores, the beach, walking trails, etc. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay there again.
