Nice yet underwhelming.

Liked: Nice decor. Great receptionists!!!! Easy check in and perfect check out process. Amazing vista view!!! Prime Ocean restaurant was nice.
Disliked: Room service was slow. We didn’t have a kettle and waited for it quite a while. Breakfast was poor. We ordered in room breakfast. Worst 88 dollars ever spend. One cup of tea instead of a pot. Did get a pot of watery coffee though. White toast was awful and cold. Overall terrible experience. It was way better at the Pendry just without the view.

Amazing! Will stay here again

Liked: Location- walkable to many things. The view was the best! Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was huge. We ate at the bar/lounge in the lobby. Loved the Valentine’s Day high tea. Had cocktails on the 21st floor. Ordered room service.
Disliked: No outlets in the bathroom. Very cold in the bathroom.

Beautiful Hotel with disappointing amenities!

Liked: The room was very comfortable and the view was amazing. The location of the hotel was very conveniently located downtown and very close to all restaurants and shopping. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. Everyone had a smile and were eager to help with any request.
Disliked: The hotel has a 5 star rating but the lack of a microwave was very unusual. Chicago has tons of food and coming back to the room and not being able to reheat your food was very disappointing. There is no microwave on the premises. Also, my vehicle was not eligible for "Valet" due to it being a high target vehicle for theft. The parking was a block away and Chicago had wintery weather during my stay. Very inconvenient and a hassle because the parking has to be paid every time you leave $$$ and walking downtown at night isn't the safest thing to do. Lastly, I paid for a breakfast included stay. When I let the server know, they advised me the breakfast was not fully included and it was only a $20 off voucher. The information about the stay was very misleading. For this to be a 5 star hotel this small inconveniences would prevent me from booking here in the future.
