It was the perfect place...

Liked: Check in was very easy and we were able to check in early and leave bags until our room was ready. Clean and comfortable room, very quiet, and with our hop on hop off (Golden Tours stops not too far away) saw the sights and also enjoyed dining nearby.
Disliked: Nothing.

Friendly staff, hotel itself not...

Liked: The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The fresh fruit at breakfast was very nice. The location was okay, close to several underground stops and fairly close to the Kensington museums. There's also a lot of restaurants and supermarkets nearby.
Disliked: The beds were too short and uncomfortable.The bathroom looked relatively new but there was some mold on the walls and the curtain and when we showered the whole bathroom was wet, the ventilation also didn't work. The shower was also a bit low for us and we aren't especially tall. We were in the room that was next to the toilet and there was constant noise around our room from water pipes from the toilet and the other bathrooms, which was really loud, and made it hard to sleep. Every time anyone in the whole building used water it seemed that it had to pass by our room. If the rooms were less expensive we would not be as disgruntled about it, but we've been in other hotels in the same price range that were much better.

Liked: The hotel was really beautiful and cozy. The room was excellent, everything was clean. The location is also really good, in the Kensington and Chelsea area and there are really good places nearby to have breakfast lunch or dinner.

Comfortable beds, great rooms and...

Liked: Absolutely great location, within walking distance of both Earls Court and High Street Kensington and on a quiet street. The staff were lovely, especially Tomoko, so helpful as well. We highly recommend it!
