Good experience overall

Liked: Suite was really nice, comfortable bed, hot water and really cute place.
Disliked: The staff knew absolutely no english, it wasn't impossible to communicate but it certainly was difficult.

Disliked: We were over charged at the bar (by about 20%) in the evening and it took until the following morning to get sorted.

Liked: The reception is very small and just off the brasserie/cafe. The couple running things were nice. The room was exceptionally clean and quiet. Not a big room, but perfect for one night with a conference at Uni Paris Nanterre. The surrounding area to the hotel is pleasant, safe, spacious. Be warned, however, that if you take the train station nearby to Nanterre that you need to buy a different ticket than the one used in the main metro / tram / bus network (I guess it's a different zone?).
