Exceptional

Liked: Wonderful location and view from our balcony---two flights of steps and no lift but worth it. Excellent breakfast. Lovely big room with all that was needed, Adjacent to good restaurants and all transport and of course the beach across the road.
Disliked: only a lift

A quiet, very clean place...

Liked: This place was across the street from a lovely beach. I only had one night but could see spending longer and playing in the water. The area, not far to the west of Cannes and Nice, is very beautiful and unique with its red rocks. I arrived near sunset and the hillsides and huge rocks in the water were glorious! The village is quite small and it wasn't crazy-packed with people at that time in the evening or the following morning. There were a number of restaurants all smelling of delicious seafood. The hotel, itself, is behind a restaurant front, with a courtyard and then the rooms behind that. It was lovely and quiet.

A comfy and affordable stay...

Liked: The staff at the Hotel Estrella, particularly the manager, were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel has an excellent location with the lovely Agay beach a 2 minute walking distance. The hotel is also next to a particularly excellent restaurant and a few minutes walk from a small supermarket, a bakery, a pharmacy and other useful shops. Each room at Estrella has a fridge which is essential in the hot summer. We found our standard room to be a comfortable size for two.
