Great value for money

Liked: Clean and good value. Friendly staff and great decor.
Disliked: Not enough stock in pantry. Could do with a freshen up with paintwork.

Liked: Food choices are great. Pub setting is funky
Disliked: Walk upstairs to the rooms was a bit smelly. Rancid fat smell possibly from the kitchens? Stairwell was a bit scruffy. Check in staff and bar staff weren't hugely friendly. I'm still waiting for an invoice 2 months after staying there - I've requested 3 times now...

Disliked: The room could have been warmed up prior to our arrival , in fairness we did check in early which could be why the room had not being warmed. Only took about an hour to warm up with the air on full .

Adequate for 1 night

Liked: Location excellent, no breakfast available which was a bit disappointing
Disliked: No breakfast facility

Overpriced but fine

Liked: Room was fine.
Disliked: If it were £50 a night, this would be a great, cheap and cheerful stay. But at £89 a night, it doesn't represent value for money at all. Party until 4am in the next room not the hotels fault, but frustrating nonetheless. Bathroom relatively dirty but fine. Musky smell in corridor not a good first impression.

Liked: Really great food. Comfortable beds and helpful, friendly staff. The burger and the pizza were delicious. And you get a discount on food and drink as a guest. Great touch!
Disliked: It’s just a small thing but the staircase up to the rooms is a bit stinky. Is it about the grease trap? Could do with a bit of a touch up but it absolutely didn’t spoil my stay
