Great value for money amazing...

Liked: The food was fantastic, top quality and breakfast included in the deal for such an excellent price! The room was fantastic very clean, bed was comfy and clean. Room was stocked with water and coffee, biscuits and cups. We booked the room with the view of the river and it had fantastic views. The over vibe of the hotel was so cosy, the distillery with the fire ongoing was so warm and welcoming. Staff were ever so helpful and kind. All our needs where met and our expectations where exceeded!! Will definitely be coming back to stay again in the future :)
Disliked: Absolutely nothing

Whisk and misty mountain views

Liked: Great whisky recommendations, our view was truly beautiful of the mountain and Loch Leven. Beds were comfy and served as a great resting spot after exploring Glen Coe and the local hill walks/excursions.

Liked: The location is perfect for Glencoe and lochleven
Disliked: The room was really small and needs updating, the attention to detail is not there, toilet flush badly needs of replacing. I know it was weekend rate but didn’t feel it was value for money. Paying for the location.

Great location, fabulous breakfast and...

Liked: Excellent breakfast. Plenty of choice and nothing too much trouble. Fabulous view over the loch at breakfast to set u up 4 the day. Location perfect for us and our second visit. Room adequate for our needs and best of all barely any road noise. Nice and quiet.
Disliked: We selected a small double room via booking. com which was exactly that. With hindsight we should have selected a standard room but that was our only misgiving. It was as described so have only ourselves to blame for that. When checking out we discussed our options 4 next year and the chap on reception couldn't have been more helpful. We will definitely be back.

Very comfortable stay in a...

Liked: We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Breakfast was very good, and although we had other plans for dinner guests we spoke to were very enthusiastic about it; we were able to enjoy an after-dinner drink in the cosy bar! We were delighted to find so many Iain McIntosh drawings gracing the walls, known to us as the illustrator of books by Alexander McCall Smith, a family friend. We loved the portrait, and also appreciated the books in the lounge (including a couple of shelves featuring McCall Smith). We weren't able to ask about the hotel's connection with Iain McIntosh. And of course we love the location, at the foot of Glencoe - spectacular in its autumn colours!
Disliked: Nothing at all to complain about.

Cute and Comfortable

Liked: The room had a wonderful view of the river and a balcony to enjoy it as well. The staff was super friendly (they let us check in early!) and they got us on the dinner list day-of. The food was so-so, but the company and atmosphere was great. The alcohol from their distillery is 10/10.
Disliked: The dinner could've been better. I got fish and chips, and while it wasn't bad, it was lacking something.
