Liked: Dinner service available; nice rooms; bar service; beautiful setting with outdoor seating on the lawn

Peaceful and carefree

Liked: Very friendly and welcoming owners. Helped me with my bags. Easy check in and out. Spacious and homely B&B. Big, comfortable room and bed. Great variety of breakfast options. Peace and quiet in the building and surrounding areas at night time.

Liked: We had a wonderful dinner in the restaurant, the food is mitchelin standard, superbly cooked and presented. Breakfast was equally delicious. Loch Lein is a lovely peaceful place to stay, with beautiful views of the lake and mountains and a lovely ambience throughout. we would highly recommend a stay here.
Disliked: nothing- everything was perfect.

Liked: Definitely a country club feel to the hotel. Good evening meal and breakfast.Very spacious and comfortable room. And the views are magnificent - though see below.Owners and staff are pleasant and efficient - with a definite sense of humour.
Disliked: I should have preferred to eat without music - even if it is played at low volume. But I didn't ask for it to be turned off, so I don't know how any request might have been received. And the choice of music was just odd enough to be intriguing.It is also a shame that they have not managed to sort out their differences with the neighbouring farmer, whose land blocks access to the lake. Without knowing every detail, however, I can see no justification for blaming the hotel.
