A week at Lloyd.
Liked: The bed was very comfortable and the staff was fantastic!
Disliked: The toilet was the shortest I have ever experienced. Very tough with back issued to get up and down from it.

We had a great stay...
Liked: Easy walk to downtown Astoria, Interesting location with a great view of the bay for taking sunset photos. Although it isn’t the property, dper se, we were very impressed with the friendly and helpful staff.
Disliked: Driving through the UHaul parking lot to get to the hotel was a little funky as was the proximity to some industrial facilities. On the other hand, I enjoyed the walking paths to town and looking at the boat dry docking area. Obviously, the location is what it is, but you might do something to prepare guests for their first impression.

Very good
Liked: The facilities were very clean and very nice. They did have an exercise room which was a definite bonus. The breakfast was good for a hotel breakfast.
Disliked: I paid a full price ticket to get in and ended up with a room facing the parking lot. Some of the walls and carpet in the main hallways were pretty worn down.

Overpriced and false advertisement
Liked: Nice sheets
Disliked: I was disappointed with the misleading advertisement regarding the room amenities. The description suggested that we would have a tub within the room, but upon arrival, we discovered it was just a standard bathtub in the bathroom. It raises the question—when did we start referring to baths or showers as room features? A clearer description would be much more helpful, especially since the pictures stated that some rooms have bathtubs. It would be more accurate to label this as a standard queen room rather than suggesting it includes a tub, as that creates confusion.Given the price we paid, I expected more than just a basic room. Additionally, the front desk staff were not particularly helpful, which added to our dissatisfaction. There are certainly better options in town that offer a genuine view and more appealing amenities for a similar price. I would recommend exploring those alternatives.
