Stay spoiled by inconsiderate guests

Liked: I stayed in the LLety Cynin on a Friday overnight stay,. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was lovely, nicely decorated, lovely carpet under foot and very nice bathroom. The swimming pool was nice with clean changing rooms.
Disliked: I didn't like the fact they have an unmanned reception desk over night. Unfortunately for myself and 2 kids, the night we stayed, there were some very inconsiderate guests staying a couple of doors up from us. Woke me up coming in at midnight and then proceeded to talk loudly and shout up the hallway to other guests until 1am. If there had been a manned reception I could call, then I'm sure it would have been rectified quickly, but not knowing what to do, I just had to wait until they decided to go to bed. I may have missed that in the small print but I purposely don't stay in hotels where staff are not available for this very reason. Plus I'd seen reviews saying this hotel was peaceful at night, so I was dissapointed. The breakfast wasn't as good as I expected. Every piece of toast was burnt and turned over to hide the burnt side. And maybe just my preference but the sausage was 'squishy'. My stay was very much spoiled by inconsiderate guests, which isn't technically the hotels fault, but still annoying when your hotel stay is a 'treat'. Also be prepared for no normal plugs in the room apart from at the dressing table. So if, like me, you want your phone close to the bed, you'll be out of luck.
