A short stay which felt...

Liked: This was a second visit and we were very pleased that standards had been maintained all round. Everyone involved were courteous, friendly and helpful. The restaurant had a good vibe and the food and service was excellent. Llanerch Vineyard Hotel is very comfortable as well as being luxurious….two things that often don’t go together.
Disliked: We found the beds to be quite hard for our taste.

Liked: love the location. the grounds are stunning and there's actually plenty to do on site at your stay. a cooking school, wine tasting tour and an excellent restaurant.

Liked: Breakfast was OK, nothing special. Location was very convenient (just off the M4) and the vineyard grounds are beautifully kept. The room was clean and quiet.
Disliked: I rang the hotel mid afternoon to ask them what time dinner was served until. 9pm was the answer. They asked if I wanted to book a table, but I didn't know what time I would arrive, so I said that I would prefer not to, but that I would probably be with them between 6 and 7 and would like to eat when I arrived. So I suppose I can't really fault the hotel for telling me on my arrival at 6:30 that the earliest they could give me dinner would be 9, but I have to admit I was disappointed. They were busy with a lot of "walk ins" (their descriptions) at the restaurant. I would have hoped that as I had told them roughly when I was arriving, they would have kept a table for me. However I did have a great meal a few miles away at the Miskin Arms, so all was well, but I was disappointed to have not eaten at the hotel.
