Welcoming and comfortable

Liked: Friendly staff they made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed the meals we had and the bedroom was clean and warm (2 degrees outside)!

Disappointing

Liked: Breakfast was well cooked and tasty. Beds were comfortable.
Disliked: Whole place needed a deep clean and floor and wall refresh. Felt drab and grubby. Nowhere to hang towels in bathroom and no loo brush. Difficult to handle the sloping floors in bedroom and bathroom particularly in the dark. Floor situation should have been mentioned at booking stage, then we wouldn't have booked here.

Fleeting visit but rooms were...

Liked: The family room was amazing - 3 double beds and plenty of room. We were only stopping one evening and so this was ample for us. Sadly we didn't get there early enough to have dinner, although my brother said it was great. The breakfast was fabulous and the lady serving us was really lovely. All in all good value for money.
Disliked: Would've been good to have a chair in the bedroom, but not a huge deal for us
