Adequate for what we needed

Liked: The room was large enough and the facilities were OK. Good shower but the shower gel was in a sachet and difficult to open.
Disliked: The heating seemed to be on a timer, unable to increase the temperature, became quite cool/cold in the room overnight.The continental breakfast consisted of cereal, bread, croissant, choc au pin and twice a teacake. Could have done with some cold meat and cheese to make it more like a continental breakfast. overall quite a sparse selection.

Would not stay again for...

Liked: The location was good for our needs - our family live within a mile of the hotel.
Disliked: Rooms were cold and not well insulated - when the radiator was turned on, it quickly became too hot! This also meant noise levels from outside were louder than we would expect.Room service left the room door open after delivering spare toilet roll so the room was unsecure all day, with our possessions inside.Door handle to room fell off.Noise levels from other guests were ridiculous (granted one of the nights was NYE but drunken arguments outside our room until 4am involved calling the police).Emailed the property immediately after our stay, but have had no response.

Good facility, friendly helpful staff

Liked: Excellent facilities, although the one complaint was the heating was not working properly in the room so made the stay uncomfortable due to cold.Other facilities good.
Disliked: As above the heating in the room not sufficient or was not working properly.

Passable

Liked: Location was ideal, and restaurant has very good food.
Disliked: Waking up in the morning very cold as heating cut off during the night so only 15 degrees!
