Liked: The room was an adequate size. Clean and well decorated. There was a good bar and restaurant on site, both had a pleasant ambience. There was plenty of parking. I had a main course of pie chips and peas. Sounds basic but was the best I've tasted. There was interesting and amusing discovery in the bedside cabinet. It wasn't a bible.
Disliked: The mattresses were poor quality and well past their best. In common with most hotel rooms the blinds gave a very poor blackout. Although the bathroom was spotless and contained the essentials. There were some surprising omissions: no hooks, no towel rail of any description and no toilet roll holder.Breakfast was continental only,of which I am not a fan. But it was a very basic stripped down version.

Comfortable and relaxed. No hassle.

Liked: All good. Comfortable bed. Good room. Good ales and great food. Free continental breakfast is a nice touch too. Friendly staff. I like it here and it's super convenient for work at Burnaston.
Disliked: Ideally would have preferred a bigger table/desk to allow some work to be done before dinner. That would be my only complaint, and it's not a big one.
