This is our second stay...

Liked: The room was excellent, facilities were perfect for what we needed.
Disliked: The drive upto to the property is along a farmers lane and it’s a bit bumpy

Liked: The breakfast was delicious with ample choice.The location is idyllic and is handy for all areas of the southern and western Dales.
Disliked: Neither of us slept on our first night as the mattress was very uncomfortable. Like many people, we are not complainers, but I had to say something on Saturday morning. The proprietor was taken aback by my comments and took a defensive position when dealing with the matter. Neither my partner nor I were being difficult. Rather, we explained that the mattress was uncomfortable, uneven, noisy and lumpy with springs. The proprietor explained there were no other rooms available and offered to swap the mattress with the one from their own guest bedroom. This gesture meant we slept far better on our second night and we thanked the proprietor for their efforts to resolve the situation.

Liked: Everything😊 The accommodation and facilities were as always exceptional, the breakfast, with warm freshly stewed rhubarb from the garden was delicious. The scramble eggs absolutely spot on just perfectly soft, my partners combinations of breakfast choice accommodated more than adequately. Trish and Rich were the perfect hosts offering local knowledge, humour and experience to aid our house hunting quests.
Disliked: Having to come home.

Liked: Exceptional property and hosts. Richard and Trish had everything covered to make everyone’s stay perfect.A little gem tucked away with lots of character and amazing views.The breakfast was outstanding with lots of choice and so homely.
