Excellent stay!

Liked: Very clean and staff very friendly and helpful! Modern and clean, good clean breakfast. Good location for base to all attractions.
Disliked: One small thing was the rooms are very small.

Liked: The accomodations were exactly as I was expected. The room is small but that is a given, and the price reflects that. The bed was very comfortable. The room was very clean. I appreciated having the small fridge with 2 bottles of water. I would stay here again.
Disliked: I would like a small coffee maker but I understand the space constraints might make that a challenge.

Liked: Very Stylish and Clean. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The shower was very nice with plenty of hot water. The breakfast pastries were delicious. The location was a short walk to Grand Central Terminal. Several very close public paid parking options.
Disliked: Rooms facing the street will have city noise which may be problematic for light sleepers. I think this is the case for any street facing room in NYC.

Liked: We had an absolutely amazing stay at Little Charlie Hotel! The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel at home from the moment you arrive. One of the standout features is the insane rooftop space—a true hidden gem where you can relax, take in the views, and just chill. It really adds a magical touch to the whole experience.The location is unbeatable, close to everything you’d want to explore in the city. It’s the perfect base for a New York adventure. I can’t recommend this place enough and will definitely stay here again on my next trip!

Good location but disappointed with...

Liked: Little Charlie is in a great location, within walking distance of attractions and transport links. Bed was super comfy and the towels were so fluffy. Both staff members on reception were welcoming and friendly. Room size was small but more than adequate if you are a solo traveller or planning on spending majority of the time out. The hotel is decorated to a modern standard and is fresh and clean. Breakfast was a selection of muffins and pastries, enough to grab and go on the way out in the morning.
Disliked: The noise from outside was considerably more than expected. I had a room at the front of the hotel and I did not have one night without disturbed sleep, whether that be excessive noise from the road/goings on outside or other guests coming and going within the hallway. I consider myself to be a heavy sleeper but really struggled at this hotel. Room doors were not soft close so did slam with some force and noise, whilst the hotel can’t control what goes on outside better noise reduction measures need to be looked into for the price paid for the room. The hotel did provide one pair of basic disposable foam ear plugs but these were too big and as the room was not cleaned daily these would not have been replenished. LED lighting above hook storage flickered repeatedly when on so I had to keep this switched off which made the room darker. The toilet brush handle was broken off, I asked for a replacement but this never got changed when the maid came. The maid disposed of my own soap and shampoo bar on the only day the room was cleaned and I am non the wiser as to the reason for them to do so, there is no storage inside the shower for shower toiletries so the items were left next to my other toiletries but were missing when I returned to the room to which I can only assume they were thrown away. Towels were changed once during 4 night stay, as a solo traveller this didn’t bother me too much as there was another set but couples would need to reuse dirty towels, this is the only hotel I have ever stayed in whereby towels are not offered to be changed daily even if the room isn’t cleaned that day. Water pressure in the shower wasn’t constant and the temperature fluctuated greatly despite not touching the controls. There was also no full length mirror in the room. Granted I stayed on a particularly expensive week but I did expect the basic facilities to be better/working for what I paid which left me somewhat disappointed with my stay.
