Fantastic hotel in a great...

Liked: Room (standard double room) was better than I expected - small but clean, with enough cupboard space for a long weekend. Great view from the 4th floor towards the castle. Very comfortable and big bed with lovely bedding. Big sink area. Bathrobe and slippers which was great for going to the small spa. Great rooftop area which we used for lunch and drinks as well as breakfast each day. We were given a bottle of bubbly and brownies to celebrate a birthday in our family. The free minibar was great - we only used the water and couple of of drinks but it made it so easy having it there.
Disliked: Sauna wasn't working. The staff weren't proactive in offering fresh omelettes and eggs at breakfast.

Liked: The staff make the difference, and this staff is amazing, the level of kindness and professionalism is outstanding.The location is a must and the view from the rooftop unique.The room cozy and comfortable , the Bed super good and the cleaning also, the free mini bar is a plus
Disliked: The noise at 8 am from the restaurants upstair, My room was at the 4th floor and both morning I stayed there I have been woke up by a strong noise of furniture moving like chairs or tables. The Sauna wasn’t working, the water of the swimming pool too cold to be in a spa and the accessories for the bathroom not matching a 4stars hotel. Liked: Great location, design, rooftop restaurant and spa.
Disliked: The sauna was not working, so make sure to ask before :) And the spa center/ pool opens at 9:30.

My favorite boutique hotel in...

Liked: Lisboa Pessoa is located in the nicest part of Bairro Alto. The receptionists are very helpful+professional+kind and smiling addressing from the start with your name. The room with a view on Castelo San Jorge was very good with a perfect bed. The rooftop restaurant has one of the best breakfasts ever with a possibility to eat outside even in November
Disliked: Not so much a complaint but more an advise is that the streets of Bairro Alto are small and often steep so having a reasonable physical condition is important. Because of the steep street Lisboa Pessoa is on, the entrance is in fact on the 2nd floor and the parking at the back of the hotel -not easy to find!- starts 2 floors below

Exquisite hotel and staff that...

Liked: A beautiful hotel, artfully themed around one of Portugal's literary geniuses, Fernando Pessoa. Warm and friendly staff - no request was an issue. Amazing view over the city to the castle. My favorite was the roof top terrace bar and restaurant with great Portuguese food. For me, this hotel captured the culture and essence of Portugal and put it in my heart forever.
Disliked: Everything was perfect
