Welcome to Linton Lodge a BW Signature Collection Hotel a traditional and well-appointed hotel nestled in a quiet residential street just minutes away from the bustling heart of Oxford. Our hotel consists of three sympathetically renovated Edwardian houses with accommodations and communal areas retaining many of the original features To the rear of the main building you can explore our beautiful and well-tended garden; a peaceful haven providing a space in which to rest and relax after sampling the delights of our wonderful city. We are located just one mile from the city center easy to access from the train and bus stations or from any of the major roads into the city. Many guests enjoy the peaceful walk into the city through leafy residential streets while others take advantage of the regular busses which run direct to the city center from the end of our road. We have a choice of spacious and comfortable rooms with many overlooking our garden. All rooms feature a large flat screen TV (with Freeview)) along with iPod docking and radio clock. Executive Rooms provide superior luxury with larger beds increased working space a spacious seating area with comfy armchairs and complimentary luxury toiletries newspapers and bottled water. Free wifi is accessible in all areas of our hotel with a complimentary internet booth available if required. Fax and photocopying services are available at an additional cost. Our Healthy Option Buffet Breakfast served in our dining area provides a perfect start to the day. Alternatively we offer a takeaway Continental Breakfast for our 'guests-on-the-go'. Good Oxford hotel.

Liked: Excellent location. Bus stop to central Oxford a 5 min walk away. 24 hr reception. Welcoming staff. Clean room overlooking the gardens. Modern shower room. Good wifi.
Disliked: No fridge.

Liked: Very impressed. A quiet but fully equipped hotel. Able to get a drink from a cute little bar, the room was really comfortable, the breakfast area was lovely with all the desirable items. We couldn't have been happier. Plus it was 6 mins walk to the local City Sightseening bus stop which made the trip so easy

Nice Hotel

Liked: The receptionist was very nice and I really enjoyed our stay. The location was good in my opinion although it is a little bit of a walk to the city.
Disliked: I can see how some people might not like that they have to walk a bit to get to the city but I actually enjoyed it.

Nice, comfortable hotel with friendly...

Liked: The room was really nice, a comfortable size and nice design. Breakfast was really good, the staff were very pleasant and friendly. The whole place had a nice relaxed atmosphere. Nice quiet location, a reasonable walk from town, though buses run regularly.
Disliked: The parking was a bit of a faff, but it worked out ok because there was plenty of street parking for free on the Sunday, and for long enough on the Saturday till we could park in the hotel car park for free. Could be a pain if you were there on a weekday.

Good value for money, friendly...

Liked: Breakfast was lovely. Lots of variety, nice friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. Evening meal was good value but the menu was a little restricted. Ate in the restaurant both nights and food was freshly cooked.The reception had been brilliant when I was booking and reserving, as I was booking rooms for several family members. Unfortunately, the various members changed their minds about days and how many were arriving, several times. The Receptionist took it all in their stride and made all the changes and ensured that all the correct rooms were booked on the right nights.
Disliked: There seemed to be a shortage of staff. We had to go in search of staff on several occasions, as there was nobody in the restaurant, cafe, or reception. The carpet on the ground floor corridor was rather loose and wrinkled and I tripped a couple of times.
