Decent stay for the price

Liked: Excellent location - around 10 mins from Sheringham high street. Good amount of parking and easy check in. Room spacious, with tea and coffee facilities. Full length mirror and hair dryer in drawer. Bathroom had a shower over bath which was a good size. Very warm and comfortable bed which was a good size. Able to add breakfast on the next morning. Good price considering we booked a week or two before our stay.
Disliked: Lighting in bedroom wasn’t good and this didn’t help as I got ready for a wedding reception. The breakfast was bog standard, nothing special but a decent price of £14ish. Hotel decor very outdated but this didn’t bother us as it was a bed for the night. Staff could’ve been friendlier when dealing with a lost property incident. Toilet paper was considerably thin and the sink didn’t drain quickly when brushing teeth so the water gathered in the bowl. However, it took 30 seconds or so for it to drain away.

Liked: Bed was very comfortable and room was nicely decorated. Hotel was well situated and parking was good. Staff were helpful.
Disliked: WiFi was very poor even in the hotel reception area. Thought the towels were a bit worn and very small, only one set of shower gel/shampoo/body lotion - there were 2 of us staying for 2 days. Cold breakfast options could have been more extensive - fruit was a bit sparse and the yogurt I selected was mouldy :(

Disliked: Breakfast was a little disappointing as few residents no buffet. Items seemed to be pre cooked and warmed up. Hungarian waitress was really lovely

Liked: Bed very comfortable. Location excellent. Dog was acceptable and also well treated. Plenty of green walk areas for dog. Beautiful modern bathroom with shower. Great to have a swimming pool in hotel and gym. The staff very informative and friendly.
Disliked: Finding dust in room. No proper chest of drawers in garden room for our clothes, only small drawers in desk and a bureau. Furniture and lamps very dated. No USB points and not many sockets.
