Liked: Have stayed at this property before it was lyf and I must admit that the transformation into this new lifestyle brand is a real positive hotel addition for Frankfurt Ostend area. Stylish rooms, friendly staff and good vegan breakfast offered.

Perfect weekend escape!

Liked: Great location with very easy access to city centre with the tram line. Friendly staff and quick check in. Booked vegan breakfast onsite , delicious and great value for money.We will definitely come back lyf East Frankfurt!

Disliked: I was unlucky to get a day they had construction work on the room right above mine. From the moment I checked in (4pm) until 6pm end then back again the next morning. Also would’ve like some non-vegan breakfast options

Liked: I really liked the stylish design of the property. Very nicely put together the different pieces of art and furniture. The vegan breakfast was very good and the atmosphere in the breakfast restaurant is really nice. I would love to come back to enjoy breakfast on the outside terrace in the morning.

Great Spaces and Location, but...

Liked: What I liked about the Lyf Hotel was its communal workspaces, the kitchen that can be used throughout the day, and the meeting and conference space, which is really good. The gardens weren’t used much because of the cold. The vegan restaurant was always full, though I didn’t try it. The room is comfortable for one or two people—at least the one I booked.The location is good, in the Ostende area, with several restaurants and cafés nearby, including a very good Italian and a Vietnamese place. It’s an office district, so there are plenty of options, and public transportation is not far. It takes about 15 minutes by taxi to get to the exhibition center. The hotel itself is quite private.
Disliked: I didn’t like that, under the justification of being sustainable, they don’t clean the room until the third night. So if you book for fewer nights, be aware of this. I had to request cleaning multiple times, and the staff, since they often work in replacement shifts, didn’t always communicate well with each other. It wasn’t until the manager stepped in that they finally cleaned the room.Additionally, they charge an extra €2 per day on top of the reservation, something to keep in mind for longer stays.
