A lovely stay

Liked: We had a lovely time at Lancemore. As has been our stays at Lancemore properties before this one. We had a most comfortable stay. The staff were excellent our commendations to them for their friendliness and helpfulness and level of service. The food in the dining room was wonderful, again with exemplary service. It was an absolutely enjoyable weekend. Our family reunion was most successful because of these elements of our stay. Our main concern was the level of maintenance of the property. It needs a little more love. Anyone can and should have a wonderful time here, but the property will benefit from a some further maintenance and development.
Disliked: There were few things to dislike but those that were obvious were the fact that more maintenance would have made the experience at this property vastly improved. The property is a little tired.

A hotel with potential if...

Liked: The location was beautiful. Moreover it has some very nice sitting areas.
Disliked: The hotel is quite run down for what we pay. Moreover, during some weekdays they dont have any room service or restaurants so there is nothing to eat for dinner. So you need to plan ahead to make sure you have dinner somewhere else.
