Loved Lille but would stay...

Liked: location was not bad - very centreal
Disliked: very basic albeit clean rooms ( we booked two) Every day we were locked out of the rooms that we had paid for and had to go to reception and can passes revalidated. Furniture was sparce and a bit broken but rooms were clean.

Liked: Location was great, everything was within waking distance (within 5-15 minutes).. price was reasonable considering the location. Tucked away from the noise but not difficult to find. Rooms were spacious, somewhat comfortable, clean and had plenty of lighting. Breakfast was also satisfactory (it was included in the room tariff).
Disliked: Nothing to put you off from staying but a few things to note.. Water pipe going through the room (room 260) which made noise at night whenever someone flushed or used the tap/shower (in another room, guessing the one above)?Toilet bowl was not stuck to the ground so was moving when sat on..Shower was decent but cubicle could prove to be a problem for larger people.No cupboards in room (could be an issue if staying more than a couple of nights).Waterproof mattress protector makes noise when sleeping on (it's made of plastic!) so like sleeping on a plastic bag..

Liked: Overall a comfortable stay. Good room and bathroom size. Great location and everything is walkable. Couldn't hear any noise from outside. Good lighting in the rooms.
Disliked: Water pipe running through the ceiling in the room was disturbing at night. No cupboard but wasn't an issue for a night we stayed.

I’d go again tomorrow

Disliked: Nothing- the entrance ws a bit dark but ok
