Absolutely top quality and great...

Liked: Breakfast was bacon and egg etc plus machine made flat white….two of them each. We were met with a pot of tea and a cake. Lovely room and bathroom. Everything was quality.
Disliked: Nothing.

What a great first night...

Liked: Beautiful rooms, welcome with hot tea and delicious cakes, gardens to wander in, super friendly hosts, perfect breakfast, everything we could hope for, Thank you Pam and Dennis!
Disliked: Was all perfect

Liked: Staying at Lilac Rose was like visiting a friend you haven’t seen for a long time. Got very well looked after, and love the cooked breakfast.

Liked: Pam and Denis were great hosts. Tea and cake on arrival, fabulous room, and tasty full English breakfast! Just sorry our stay was so short. Thanks for making us so welcome.

Charminghome with all the amenities...

Liked: ThisB&B was an old and charming home in a wonderful location to see sights and find restaurants. The house was very clean with relaxing gardens. The hosts were welcoming and gave helpful information about things to see and where to eat. The cappuccino was throughly enjoyed!
Disliked: We had a room on the ground floor which I appreciated however our private bathroom was a separate room. This meant leaving the bedroom to enter the bathroom which was open to the main hallway and front door. We often felt a bit exposed and would have liked some screen or even the hall door closed so we were not so visible when guests walked through the front door or to the kitchen.

Liked: Very friendly hosts, delicious breakfast and comfortable bed.
Disliked: The advert said private bathroom but I didn't realise this was separate from our bedroom, with a door from the hallway, albeit right next to our bedroom door. Other than that it was a lovely place to stay.
