Liked: Pam and Denis were so accommodating and helpful. The property was beautiful. Breakfast was delicious. Hottub hit the spot, after a long day of hiking!

Liked: Loved this small BnB. The gardens are beautiful. The room was well appointed and the bathroom nice. Good location in Christchurch. The breakfast was terrific. The hosts were lovely people.
Disliked: I booked the attic room because I wanted a King bed. In hindsight I’d have preferred a queen room on the main floor. I kept bumping my head. And it was unseasonably warm during our stay making the upstairs a little hot.

Liked: Very welcoming couple and their lovely dog. Beautifully furnished with lots of individual tasteful paintings and objects. Homely feel and great location to hop on the bus into Christchurch
Disliked: Nothing

Very good

Liked: Beautiful rose blooms at the entry.
Disliked: Rooms were chilly as heat was not turned on prior to our arrival in n November. Hot breakfast was good, not exceptional.

Disappointing

Liked: The dog.
Disliked: Bed was hard and sagging. The room had no privacy. I had the garden room which was directly under the owners bedroom. I heard everything which meant they could also hear everything. Bathroom is not private and no access to the garden or spa. I stayed in a much better place on arrival into Christchurch for the same price. Unfortunately this was the most uncomfortable place we stayed in for the two weeks we travelled in NZ.
