Liked: First of all the facility was Dog friendly, that was a bonus plus for staying there, recommend booking the Boathouse right on the water, as you look out your bedroom window
Disliked: It was a little disappointed as the docks were pulled from the water for winter prep

Liked: We were late in checking in, but were told not to worry, the lights will be on and door unlocked so that we didn't have to rush and getting into our room would be easy. We were so amazed at how beautiful the property and setting was on the river. The rooms were decorated in a fun theme to fit the water location, the beds were comfy, the kitchen was totally stocked with anything we'd need and it was as clean as can be. Marc was friendly and welcoming, as well as helpful in giving advice about places to go for bakery goods and dining recommendations. Other guests, from all over the world, were so friendly and fun to talk to. We drank our coffee in the morning outside on the lawn above the river, but there were many little spots created by Marc and Joseph to sit and enjoy your time there. Couldn't have been more perfect. It was also a convenient drive to Lunnenburg. What a find! We highly recommend this wonderful motel.
Disliked: Room could have been a bit bigger, but the grounds and gathering spots definitely made up for any small thing we might have been lacking. We hardly spent any time in the room so it didn't matter.
