Location great but building need...

Disliked: Really humid, bed were wet, wall are curvy because of the humidity. There was two cockroaches in our room.

Great location, idea and design...

Liked: The location and some design patterns that are typical for Miami Beach.
Disliked: The entire hotel is not sound-proof and it is not possible to sleep without ear plugs! You hear everything - how your neighbors clap the door (the walls tremble), what is going on in the neighboring rooms, conversations and laughter in the corridor, people dragging their suitcases, the entrance door producing a click sound, music, etc… all this not counting the outside noise as the windows are not soundproof either, of course. The first night we couldn’t sleep at all, we bought the earplugs for other nights to minimize noise disturbance. Despite a comfortably looking bed (we had a king bed and a larger room), this place is definitely where you go for a relaxing sleep! People are coming in an out non stop, I was woken up at 3-4 am as someone was passing by the room speaking on the phone, others listening to music, others returning from a party and speaking loudly, etc… Moreover, the hotel rooms have an increased humidity level and the management doesn’t do anything about it - the bed linen is always a bit humid and it stinks strong detergents after room service. The lobby is sprayed with strong perfume, probably to mask the humidity smell and it is not easy to breathe when it is that strong (whether you like the perfume or not). We were badly surprised to know that the coffee was not complimentary (not that we were abusing, had it 2 or 3 times in a week) and they added it on the bill - at a hotel that provides barely any customer service (eg, breakfast even paid) besides the fact that the outside indications state bar and café! To be noted that the fact of absence of breakfast was communicated to us in advance and the coffee was taken off the bill after my comments to the receptionist regarding the fact that of the service is paid then this needs to be stated somewhere explicitly or verbally said when you order it. It was the least thing they could do for all the bad nights we had! The corridor stinks a bit and the carpet needs to be urgently renewed.

Wouldn't recommend

Liked: It was close to the cruise, poor and accommodated four of us in separate beds
Disliked: The bathroom and shower needed a lot of work. A good cleaning would've helped too.

Lovely small hotel in fantastic...

Liked: I had been quite worried about staying at the hotel after reading some poor online reviews, however as our stay was only for one night and we had lots of plans to fit in (meaning we wouldn’t be in the room so much) decided to go ahead with the booking as it was such great value for money and location. Pleasantly surprised and so happy we didn’t cancel. The hotel itself is fashionably styled and the bedroom was great for our family of 5, our daughters loved staying in the top double bunks. Staff we came into contact with were so lovely and helpful, especially Danny. Would definitely recommend to others for a short stay.
Disliked: Smell of dampness was present
