The perfect hotel to stay...

Liked: Amazing decor, rooms smell incredible. I got a gorgeous corner room overlooking the mountains and the Moorten botanical garden (my fave place) Bed was so comfortable, perfect pillows. The whole place has such a chic look and the staff is friendly, service excellent.

If it was a third...

Liked: Good location and nice pool
Disliked: Overpriced for what it is, it’s really a touched up motel. Apple TV in room is so old and kept freezing and not working. Shower is so tiny, mind you I’m 5’3 110 lbs lol Food at bar was below mediocre.

Disappointing

Great Place, poor room service

Liked: The hotel is adorable. I absolutely LOVE the old retro hotels from the 60's that have been updated and this place did not disappoint. So So So very cute and stylish. We did have dinner at the pool side restaurant the first night we were there. Good food, excellent cocktail selection. Pool area is fun (complete with pool float). Spent two nights out by their fire pit, sipping cocktails and reading, very nice.
Disliked: My issue came with the care of our room. We were there for 4 days and NO ONE stepped foot in our room. I understand that hotels these days give you a choice of not having new linen and or towels replaced daily. I'm good with that. Saves on water (important in California) and wear and tear on the linen. But I had to empty my own trash cans (very small and held nothing). We didn't spend a lot of time in the room we were out exploring but two people in a room for 4 days. There will be trash! No toilet paper checked or replaced. We had to go get our own. You had to jump through a million phone prompts (you know what I mean, press 2 for, press 3 for) to get to the front desk. It was just easier to walk up to the front desk and ask for what we needed. Although you shouldn't have to. I would really have to think about whether I would come back.
