Stunning hotel with wonderful staff

Liked: Beautiful building, nice pool and steam room, fabulous bar and restaurant, amazing authentic room in the oldest part of the hotel with bags of character, wonderful staff. Special mention to Djim for a warm and enthusiastic welcome and to Angélique for an equally efficient and pleasant check out but all staff were great.
Disliked: Cocktails were delicious but very expensive!

A lovely building with good...

Liked: Quiet location, size of room, bedding, towelling robes, and comfortable beds. Filtered water refills available. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice, and we had a reasonable meal in the restaurant.
Disliked: Poor and not easily accessible bedside lighting, No overhead light so room somewhat dark and no bathroom night light. Side of bath quite high with tiled edge and my friend and I found this awkward/somewhat unsafe to get into and out. We were disappointed with the spa area. The area wasn’t very welcoming, the pool water was quite cold and the sauna was sited elsewhere. As a result we only used the facilities once which was very disappointing as we chose the hotel for a relaxing spa break.
