Disliked: Had so many stains, shower was broken, door was broken, air conditioning was to open the window, door hole was broken, and smelled reallllly bad.

Liked: The Lexen is a great place to stay to be close to the attractions in Hollywood. Walking distance to the Hollywood Bowl (5 mins) and Hollywood Blvd. The staff is friendly and helpful (although occasionally a little hard to find). The rooms are clean and comfortable. Good a/c, fridge, hot water.
Disliked: As many people mention, the rooms can be a little noisy from traffic on Highland Blvd, especially the rooms facing the street, but I wouldn't prevent that from staying here again. Ask for room in the back.
