Liked: We loved the old building, which has been lovingly restored. The staff were very friendly and interesting to talk to, particularly Barry.

Liked: Fantastic service. Friendly staff. Lovely courtyard. Comfortable beds. All round great value for money.
Disliked: It did get a bit warm with only one opening window.

Liked: Convenience to city centre and attractions
Disliked: Although advertised, there was no cooked breakfast available.

Pleasant

Liked: Quirky and retro hotel - comfortable and fulfilled the need for appropriate accommodation.
Disliked: Could do with some written info in the room to let guest know where the switch is for the television and fridge. Restaurant hours, Wi-Fi code and other hotel information.

Superb

Liked: comfortable room which had everything I needed and the staff were great and friendly.

Great location, delicious menu, friendly...

Liked: Loved the location and the NZ Botanical Skincare range of soaps and shampoos was lovely. Our evening dinner was superb and the portion size very generous.
Disliked: Room could do with a repaint / touch up. A nice fresh white paint and replace the carpet would be fabulous.

Was exactly what was required...

Liked: Good location, in walking distance of venue we were attending. Clean comfortable bed and nice helpful reception staff
