Disliked: Attitude of evening welcoming staff , dinner in restaurant , suggested difficult to fit us in yet minor was there in-restaurant. Food was heated up in a microwave … no chef . Poor very poor

Very comfortable, lovely old building....

Liked: Spacious room and comfy bed. Very good cot bed for our baby, made up with a mattress and blankets, we were very happy with that.
Disliked: Our toilet room door didn’t close properly, a small annoyance but for one night it was fine. I think there should be free water in the fridge for guests.

Reasonably priced location, lovely location

Liked: Location, incredible room modern brilliant shower very comfortable bed .grounds to walk dog incredibly friendly staff we ate in the restaurant which was delicious. Breakfast was good very reasonably priced.
Disliked: Nothing it was more than we expected

Hotel in a historic building,...

Liked: Background info: Five night stay in room 6The shower was amazing, one of the best ever in a hotel.The breakfast was delicious and very good value. Sample the madeleines! Dinner was good but my food was heated unevenly. Another day I ate a Fondant au Chocolat that was delicious. The building is ancient but the room I stayed in was redone very well. The hostess who received me was friendly and had a good sense of humor.
Disliked: As said above, the shower was amazing… until the last day when the water boiler had shut off and it was not possible to reset it because they are accessed through another room. The WiFi had to be reset at least once a day. I was informed this was only the case in my room. However, being the longest staying guest and coming for work (indicated on the Booking.com website), I would have expected a bit more than an explanation.The room became a bit moist; getting the airconditioning to work was difficult. Leaving the door open was not really an option as it is located directly to the courtyard.

A hidden gem

Liked: The location is in a quiet village in an old chateau, the quirky room, the warm welcome with a well prepared and delicious dinner and breakfast. All at good value for money.
Disliked: Nothing
