One of the best stays...

Liked: This was one of the best places we have stayed in Europe in many years. The host, Pascal, was exceptionally kind and helpful. The property was very special and had a gym, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. The location was an easy drive to many towns in Provence and only 5kms from L'Isle sur la Sorgue. We hope we can stay there again one day.
Disliked: Breakfast could have included eggs for free.

Exceptional

Superb typically Provencal stay

Liked: This is a stunning Provencal property. Beautifully appointed and with lovely gardens. Our room was huge, comfy bed and lovely bathroom. So quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was delicious. Pascal the owner is wonderful, attentive, warm hearted and welcoming. There is no food during the low season but the local town has places to eat. We would love to come back in the summer months and enjoy the pool and spa.

A Hidden Gem in the...

Liked: From the moment we arrived, the hospitality at Les Carmes was exceptional. Pascal, the host, is not only welcoming but also incredibly knowledgeable and worldly! I'm certain he has traveled to one of the countries we call home. His warmth and generosity were evident when he upgraded our room at no extra cost. The hotel itself is cozy and elegant, radiating the charm of a bourgeois family estate. Surrounded by apple orchards, it offers a serene and authentic Provençal experience. The attention to detail extends to the rooms, with a supremely comfortable mattress, perfect water pressure in the shower, and an inviting warmth that made our stay all the more pleasant. Pascal went above and beyond by personally booking our table at Renaud Mets in L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, where we had an unforgettable meal! Every dish felt like a piece of heaven. Back at the hotel, the breakfast and dining experience were equally exquisite. Though I didn’t have time to try the spa, everything else about Les Carmes made it a truly special place to stay in the South of France. It’s an ideal retreat to experience the region’s culture, hospitality, and culinary excellence! Plus, it’s conveniently close to Aix-en-Provence. A wonderful destination, and one I’d gladly return to.
