Quiet location, lovely staff and...

Liked: The hotel was easy to get to and with a huge and free car park. It was located about 2 minutes walk from the town square which had a few restaurants and some beautiful architecture. The check in was lovely and the room a good size although I always find the warm air heaters a pain to actually warm the room up. The bed was fantastically comfortable, the best sleep I have had for a long time! The room was very quiet too and had a good sized desk and decent wifi.
Disliked: Breakfast was €22 each which was pricey.

Good place for cyclist enthousiasts

Liked: The location is really great, on the Schelde and only ten minutes walks from the center of Oudenaarde. The room was big, well equipped and comfy. The parking for bicycles is really great. And the region is wonderful for cycling.
Disliked: The carpet in our room was not completely clean, but I can imagine it's not easy to keep it perfect while having muddy cyclists all around ;-)The temperature of the water in the shower was not quite constant, which is not great after a day out cycling in low temperatures. Also the sink wouldn't drain and there was a smell of sewage.The breakfast is very varied, but offers mainly average quality food. We would have preferred less choice, but more quality.

Liked: The room was very clean.
Disliked: I had the Executive room outside of the hotel, at basement level with door entrance directly from the street. The room was very cold and could not be heated properly just by Air-conditiong uni, the floor was very cold. The bathroom was even colder as does not have its own heating source, you had to leave open the bathroom's door to get some warmth from the main room. This solution is not OK for such price and room level.The main entrance door was very hard to lock, should be fixed. It is not realy pleasant to have entrance in the room directly from the street .
