Rude staff made stay unpleasant.

Liked: Good location. Good size rooms.
Disliked: Long wait to use the lift, only two for 16 floors. Spa needed a little refurb.

Disappointed - Hotels are more...

Liked: My check in was smooth and the staff were generally warm and friendly. Room service was great - I ordered the rib eye steak. Breakfast was OK
Disliked: I fell ill on my second night and had to cut my trip in London short so I checked out two days before expected. I explained that to the hotel staff and I was surprised that their response was purely mechanical - "you booked via booking.com so you must reach out to booking.com to cancel." I did reach out to booking.com to request an early checkout and requested a refund for one night (not both) and to date they have not responded back. Now, from the hotel staff as I dealt with them face to face I expected more empathy - not once did they ask how I was feeling or how they could help....they were only concerned about their money. I am a hotelier and this was not in good taste at all.

Comfy bed, disappointed with special...

Liked: The location was perfect, very close to London bridge and uber boat.
Disliked: I did not like the value of special arrangements. I paid £5 for celebration ceiling balloons. However, they only did 4 ceiling balloons. I expected the room to be full as I was charged £5 extra for each service charge. Therefore it was £10 I gave for ceiling balloons. On this price I could have done it myself.
