Centrally located, clean, well appointed...
Liked: The Leonardo Royal London City is an excellent place to stay, offering a fantastic location just moments from Tower Hill Underground Station. It's within easy walking distance of top attractions like the Tower of London and Tower Bridge, making it perfect for sightseeing. There are plenty of great dining options nearby, and the area feels safe even at night. Plus, the central location means much of London is easily walkable. It’s one of my preferred hotels in the city, combining comfort, convenience, and a prime location. Loved the facility to hire an umbrella, two pounds for 48 hours, ideally for the unpredictable London weather.
Disliked: While the chat facility with Leonardo Hotels through Booking.com is a useful feature, there is room for improvement. The responses were often generic and took a long time to arrive, which made communication frustrating. Additionally, replies sometimes contradicted each other, leading to confusion. It would have been more helpful if agents reviewed previous messages before responding, rather than repeatedly asking for the same information. A more streamlined and attentive approach would greatly enhance the customer experience.

Passable
Disliked: I had to pay £50 for a deposit in case we used the minibar but the minibar was closed plus I still haven’t got my deposit back and it’s been almost a month I already contacted the hotel but they said it was for early check in

Friendly hotel with nice gym...
Liked: The staff were friendly and very quick to respond in the case of any issues. I would like to particularly mention Kabita at the front desk, who was exceptionally helpful!I like the size of the room, the beds were comfy and it was a nice view of London. The room was fairly quiet, although you can hear your neighbour's doors closing and sometimes TV.The gym is really large for a hotel gym and had a wide range of equipment. The steam room and sauna were lovely too.
Disliked: The bathrooms were tired and old, and in particular I disliked the lack of handheld shower head, which immediately makes me think of a more old fashioned, less inclusive hotel. At peak times there was a bit of a wait for the 3 lifts, and it wasn't easy to locate the stairs.
