Comfortable, but let down by...

Liked: Size of bed, comfort of bed, quiet night and undisturbed by other guests.Parking right outside hotel.Tea and coffee facilities in room.
Disliked: Smelly drains in the bathroom upon arrival. Maintenance man left his footprints in the shower after pouring something down the drain. Loose floor tiles in bathroom, cracked and with grout missing. Bathroom door showing water damage and MDF expansion at bottom of door. Metal floor trim in the hotel foyer is loose in several places and represents a trip hazard.

Exceptional

Absolutely what we were looking...

Liked: Really good stay, friendly helpful staff, clean comfortable room. We enjoyed an evening meal and breakfast was excellent. Ideal for us going to Oxford City centre and on to Blenheim.
Disliked: Can't think of anything

I will probably never be...

Liked: Free upgrade is always a bonus, the room was very comfortable, the bed was great, shower fantastic, the meal in the bar was great. What more can I say, it was a great experience.

Liked: Comfortable bed, good sized room, hotel in great location within a 10 minutes bus ride into city centre.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike.

Liked: It’s our second stay ….we will definitely choose this hotel whenever we visit Oxford
Disliked: That we have to pay for parking

Disliked: The staff were rude, the food was overpriced

Superb

Liked: Other than staff shortage at reception and the fact that it takes 10 rings for someone to pick up the phone, the hotel room is centrally located and room very clean. The thoughtful welcoming gifts are a delight. Family room size is spacious.
Disliked: The reception could be more staffed. It is usually a queue when I am there and only one reception staff attending to customer. The swimming pool is probably overrated, it is very small and shallow.
